Effective date: August 2026. Questions about any of this: tyson@libertyand.co.
Informed Wagering ("the Service") is a sports research and analysis tool. It publishes statistical model outputs — probabilities, expectations, and fair-price estimates — derived from publicly available baseball data. The Service does not accept, place, broker, or facilitate wagers of any kind.
Nothing on the Service constitutes betting advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to place any wager. Model outputs are probabilistic estimates: individual results are never guaranteed, and historical accuracy — which we publish, including the bad weeks — does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make, wagering or otherwise.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, and of legal gambling age in your jurisdiction (21+ in most U.S. states) if you choose to wager based on your own decisions. The Service is void where prohibited; you are responsible for knowing the laws that apply to you.
Paid membership is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal in your dashboard; access continues through the end of the paid period. We don't offer partial-month refunds, but if something is genuinely broken, email us and we'll make it right.
One membership is for one person. Scraping, reselling, redistributing, or publicly republishing member data or model outputs is prohibited and grounds for termination without refund. Reasonable personal use — screenshots, discussing picks with friends — is fine and encouraged.
We aim for reliability but the Service depends on third-party data (MLB, sportsbook feeds) and is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
The minimum: your email address (for login and receipts), your subscription status via Stripe (we never see or store card numbers — Stripe handles all payment data), and the preferences you save in the app (filter presets, display settings). Your bet log lives in your own browser's storage and is never transmitted to us.
We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. No ad trackers, no analytics brokers, no data resale. Ever.
Account data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Vercel and Supabase, U.S. regions) and payment data with Stripe. Emails are sent via Resend. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Email us to see or delete everything we hold about you — which, per the above, is your email, subscription status, and saved presets. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.
We use browser local storage for your login session and preferences — functional only, no cross-site tracking.
We build honest tools, and honesty includes this: most people who bet on sports lose money over time, and no model — including ours — changes that for the undisciplined. If you choose to wager:
Bet only what you can afford to lose, with money set aside for entertainment. Set limits before you start, not after you're down. Losing streaks are mathematically guaranteed even with a real edge — never chase them. And treat any urge to hide your betting from people close to you as the warning sign it is.
If gambling has stopped being fun, help is free and confidential: call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, or visit ncpgambling.org. Every U.S. sportsbook also offers self-exclusion tools — use them if you need a break. A subscription here is never a reason to bet; cancel anytime, no questions asked.
